Further details on session: Major research funders and the University have policies requiring open access to research publications and the associated underlying data. The general expectation is that outputs from publicly-funded research projects should be made openly available with as few restrictions as possible. Researchers are expected to produce and manage research findings and data throughout the project with reuse in mind.
Aims: The aim of this session is to equip participants with the knowledge necessary to ensure scholarly publications and associated data can be made open access.
Objectives: To provide insight into:
- Funder and UCLan policy on open sharing
- How and when to make your research open access
- Good practice in managing Open Access
- Institutional Repository (CLoK)
